Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They pass our tests on cleaning and can handle various floors. Look for models that allow you to choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging dock to self-empty and clean up stairs.
Many of the top models work with smartphones. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the behavior of the S1.
When I tested the S1, it was able to locate our downstairs, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without colliding with them, and was able to drive across raised room thresholds with no issue, though it occasionally was unable to navigate down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rug.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's water tank holds enough water for about 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this can vary based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with many unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station when required.
The robot comes with a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. It comes with a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that effortlessly picks up most of the debris, and even smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it is sometimes hung up on the tiny rug or area mats I have in my home (which is something you can control by creating a virtual border within the application). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with two spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can also be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation as required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure an effective, customized cleaning is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It works equally well on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's most soiled areas efficiently, while eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other dirt. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and a mop pad that extends across baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without stepping back. It can go from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than some competitors, however, and tends to leave a thick distance over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is easy to use and streamlined. It should be simple to use for novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust mopping and suction power settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get live video surveillance. You'll need a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic at picking up dirt and debris, but they aren't able to reach every speck of dust. It's essential to clean your home often, at least once a week. This is especially important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network, and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's expensive S-series models. It includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it doesn't have mopping capabilities and has a plastic body.
Even though it's not able to mop floors, the Q5 offers the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen on a robot at this price. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also features a smart app that lets you set your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to take on dust, dirt, and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't have any trouble with high-pile carpets and area rugs, but it couldn't pick up cables or kitty litter that's not a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also has a unique mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. This device also collects more dust in the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as often. auto vacuum cleaner has washable filters which reduces the cost. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if required. The app also lets you to mark off areas you want to avoid, which is a nice feature.
